Amazon UK Peak Fulfilment Fee 2026: Dates, Rates and Exclusions
Amazon’s 2026 festive peak fulfilment fee applies to qualifying FBA orders delivered from 15 October 2026 through 14 January 2027. The delivery date controls, and Amazon’s 1.5% fuel and logistics-related surcharge applies on top.
Qualifying UK parcels rise by about 12p on average and large or extra-large envelopes by about 7p. Do not model the average alone: use the official size-tier table, then add the 1.5% fuel and logistics-related surcharge where it applies.
The peak-fee window
| Date | What happens |
|---|---|
| 15 October 2026 | Festive peak fulfilment rates begin for qualifying delivered orders. |
| 14 January 2027 | Last day of the peak window. |
| 15 January 2027 | Fees revert to the unchanged 2026 non-peak rates. |
Amazon says the fee follows the date the buyer receives the order, regardless of when the inventory arrived at FBA or when the order was placed.
Example UK rate changes
| Size tier | 2026 non-peak | 2026 peak |
|---|---|---|
| Small parcel ≤150g | £2.91 | £3.02 |
| Small parcel ≤400g | £3.00 | £3.11 |
| Standard parcel ≤400g | £3.01 | £3.12 |
| Large envelope ≤960g | £2.72 | £2.79 |
| Extra-large envelope ≤960g | £2.94 | £3.01 |
These are examples from Amazon’s current rate card, not a substitute for checking the product’s exact size tier and category.
What is excluded?
- Oversize items
- Low-price FBA items
- Orders delivered to buyers outside the stated country scope
Light and standard envelope rates shown in the official table remain unchanged, as do the oversize bands. The UK scope includes qualifying local FBA orders and the listed Remote Fulfilment EU-to-UK lanes.
The surcharge sits on top
Amazon states that the 1.5% fuel and logistics-related surcharge applies on top of the festive peak fulfilment fee. That is why a Q4 unit-economics model should use the SKU’s size tier and applicable surcharges rather than adding a flat 7p or 12p.
A worked £7.99 SKU check
For a fictional £7.99 SKU in the small-parcel ≤150g tier, the base fulfilment line moves from £2.91 to £3.02 during the peak window: an 11p increase before the separate 1.5% fuel and logistics-related surcharge and before referral fees, storage, returns, landed cost or VAT treatment. Amazon’s captured sources do not state VAT treatment for this peak fee, so this example does not assume it.
The public takeaway is the diagnostic: update every qualifying SKU by size tier and delivered-date window. The full calculator and repricing thresholds are kept inside the MethodFBA course.
